The National Coalition For Purity believes sacrifice is necessary for men who are serious about their sexual purity. In order to glorify God, men must be willing to pay a price to become sexually pure. Our Lord Jesus Christ talks about such sacrifice in connection with sexual purity (Matthew 5:27-30). To become pure you need a "band of brothers." Alone you are no match for Satan nor can you become sexually pure by "trying harder' or "white knuckling" it on your own in the flesh. Alone you will fail. Answer these questions, "Do you really treasure Jesus above all else? Is Jesus on the throne, ruling in your life?" To say you treasure Jesus, have Him on the throne of your life, and believe in His Word yet live as though you don't is moral duplicity; it's hypocrisy. There is a better way. There is hope. There is a cost for anything worthwhile in life! A life of sexual purity is no different. To become sexually pure you will have to pay the price of secrecy and insolation. You will lose some old sexual habits which have become "friends". You will have to pay the price of rationalizing and excusing your sinful behavior and thoughts. You will have to pay the price of fully committing yourself to your marriage and making yourself vulnerable to your spouse. You will have to pay the price of self-control. Finally and most importantly, you will have to pay the price of a lukewarm relationship with Jesus Christ. There is a cost to becoming sexually pure!

Jesus never bid any man follow Him except he first count the cost. In Luke 9:59-62 Jesus said to a man, "Follow me." But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God." Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Just as there is a cost of being a disciple of Jesus, so there is a cost to living a life of purity. Purity Boot Camp can help you count the cost.
