You may or may not know that we conduct anonymous surveys of the men who are part of the purity ministry. We’ve been surveying men since 2003. I thought you’d be interested to see who fits the profile. Here is the current profile of “Paul Purity,” the typical man who participates in Every Man’s Battle For Purity:

1. Personal Category
• 25-34 years of age
• White
• Heterosexual
• Lives in a third ring suburb around the metro
• Married for 10+ years to the same wife
• Mostly satisfied with his marriage
• 2 children under 10 years of age

2. Education/Occupation Category
• 4 year college graduate
• Earns in excess of $55K/year

3. Spirituality Category
• Member or regular attender (2+ times/mo) of a church
• Born again

4. Sexual Sin Category
• Pulled into internet pornography usage primarily through his curiosity
• Secretly views pornography for between 1-2 hours/week
• Has rationalized his sexual sin as “normal”

We want to continue reaching the “Paul Puritys” but we also want to reach those men who don’t fit the profile, men who also are struggling mightily with sexual sin in their lives. Our vision would be to reach men and women in every demographic group: rich and poor, young and old, educated and uneducated, employed and unemployed. Regardless of race, ethnicity, or culture, God has called us to help purify the Bride of Christ in all her diversity. Our vision is to reach every church in America with the message of sexual purity.
